My boys on the left and my Uncle David on the right no the same crocheted blue blankie. I didn't use this for my oldest since we had a baby shower and I got lots of new stuff for him, but for my little one it was perfect. He still snuggles with it at night. Although it has lost some of its shape and has a few pulls and pills it still brings comfort after all this time. It makes me happy to hand something down from my uncle, who never had any of his own but 7 nieces and nephews to spoil. Love you Uncle Dave!
