Bump in the Road

On Thursday April 3 I got a text from Miles' SEIT saying hat there was an issue with her teaching certification extension and she would not be able to see him for an undetermined amount of time.

Over thin next week, Spring Break,  I made sure Miles was still academically engaged every day with for his ABC and Math points.  I also kept a file of everything I was doing, not knowing whether he would go without services for a time or begin with someone new.

On April 5, Easter Sunday I received an email from the SEIT with Miles' evaluation results attached to it.  I already knew the results but I was supposed to have my own copy so, there is was.

Toward the end of the week I began to panic as I still had not heard anything from the teacher, her boss, the district...

Sunday night, April 12 I get another text that says, "I will be back to work this week."

Why do I feel like this is a hiccup compared to the bumps in the road int he future?  Oh yeah, because   he has been trying my patience like a little bugger for the last 2 weeks! Lord help me through the summer.
