The End of the Break
We stopped using the hats and just went with what we wanted to do. The weather was beautiful these last 2 days so we got outside as much as possible.
Sunday: washed cars, rode bikes to Carol's for ice cream
Monday: planted garden, reprise playground with friends!
Conclusion:
For the rainy blah days and especially for the beginning of break this idea worked great, but toward the end they seemed to get bored with the ideas int he hat and just wanted to be more spontaneous. I'm ok with that. That's kind of been my "parenting style" all along. As Miles becomes better with the potty we can be more ambitious.

Still Spring Break
Tuesday: Out to dinner (Tully's) and painting
Wednesday: in-laws took the kids to Bounce House and McDonalds
Thursday: Museum, still working on this, and slumber party!
Friday: Zoo again with Tina :) and watercolors.
Saturday: Mommy goes to conference.
Only 2 days after this! This might actually work for the short term, but for the summer I'm not sure it's enough to keep them interested. Miles' sensory needs are becoming more difficult to meet. And we're still potty-training.
